Imperfect Disciples Changing the World

Christians believe that salvation is a free gift from God that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is the deliverance of humans from sin and its consequences, such as death and separation from God.

Here are some key beliefs about salvation in Christianity:

 Jesus' sacrifice

Christians believe that Jesus' death and resurrection made salvation possible for humans. Jesus' death was a payment for human sins, which are the result of people disregarding God's laws.

Grace

Christians believe that salvation is a gift from God, and that it does not need to be earned. This gift is called "grace" and is a result of God's unconditional love for everyone.

Steps to salvation

To be saved, Christians believe that people must:

           -Ask forgiveness for their sins

           -Turn away from their sins

-Believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins               and rose again
